Saving On Groceries

If you live near a Harris Teeter grocery store, they are running a coupon promotion this week (June 24-30) that you should really take advantage of. Instead of triple coupons, they are doubling all coupons up to $1.98. So coupons for $1 off a product are now worth $2, and $1.50 off coupon will get you $3 off this week.

Okay, I have been doing the coupon clipping for quite some time now, and it seems that no matter how bad the economy gets or how expensive other products may be, the good people running Frank's Red Hot Sauce must be doing pretty well. Or maybe not keeping up with their accounting books.

I just found out about the most fabulous deal and I've got to share it with you. Our local Dollar Tree dollar store carries Nature's Own Bread- FOR A DOLLAR!
I knew that several Dollar Store chains had started carrying more grocery items, including frozen foods and vegetables, but I didn't realize that they regularly get truckloads of bread too.

Now that a gallon of milk costs as much as a gallon of gas, it pays to save everywhere you can when it comes to groceries.
